Do you have a relative or acquaintance that either lives on a property and/or has stored away and forgotten about an old piece of machinery in the hope of one day restoring it to working order? The Centenary Suburbs Men’s Shed is interested in any old stationary engines, compressors, pumps or similar that are reasonably complete and capable of being restored.

We offer two options. One is that the item is donated to the shed to restore at its own cost and to do with what it likes once the restoration is complete. The other is to have the shed work with the owner to restore the item with all costs being covered by the owner. All restoration work would be done at the Shed’s pace as people become available to do the work required. Some of this work may need to be sent out to various outside businesses if it is beyond the capabilities of the machines available in the Shed.

Large agricultural items and equipment are beyond the scope of what the shed can handle. If you know of anything available please contact Trevor Johnsson (email: johnssontm@bigpond.com) preferably with a photo and a description of the item of interest.
